German girls do it again and again

The german football-women stay a class of their own in Europe. At the European Championships in England they won their 6th title (in the 9th competition...), the 4th in a row. In the final in Blackburn the german girls beat Norway in front of 21`000 spectators with 3-1 (2-1). The dominance of the germans in this competition is astonishing, the world champions are now unbeaten in 20 EC-games since 1993.

It was a wonderfull present for the leaving coach Tina Theune-Meyer, who won three European Championships and one World Cup since she took responsibility in 1994.
