Pole dancing towards Celtic

Polish striker Maciej Zurawski has admitted that he would love the chance to move to Glasgow and join Scottish giants Celtic. He has been monitored by Celtic for a while now, and while there is no official bid in at this time the Pole admitted he would love the chance to play for them: "Would I want to join Celtic? Of course I would," said Zurawski.

"It would be a great pleasure and honour for me to play there.

"To join a big club such as Celtic would be a big challenge and a real chance for me to progress in football because I have now won everything I can in the Polish game.

"This is the best moment for me to go abroad to develop my career. So joining such a great team as Celtic could only be positive for me.

"Celtic could be an ideal choice for me. Wisla have received only two official offers for me so far - from Trabzonspor and Austria Vienna - and I believe both clubs are still trying to negotiate a deal with Wisla.

"But I think Celtic are a much stronger team than them and the Scottish league looks stronger as well.

"There is no official offer from Celtic, so I must think about these two clubs but I would prefer Celtic and I'm so happy the manager appreciates the way I play."
