Milan legend hits farewell hatrick

Milan legend George Weah, who also had spells with Chelsea and Manchester City scored a hatrick in what is to be his last ever match. The former FIFA World Player of the Year, who played a half for both sides of a match made up of his friends the final score was 'Weah Friends' beat an All Stars XI 9-8.

'I wanted to score for my last match and I did it three times. I'm ever so happy,' said Weah.

It was a pretty star studded line up with France's Zinedine Zidane, 2004 European Footballer of the Year Andrei Shevchenko and Chelsea's Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba all taking part.

Weah now plans to return to Liberia, where he intends to contest the presidential elections.
