Newcastle United: Le mouth to Portsmouth?

Newcastle United’s Laurent Robert is being targeted by Portsmouth manager Alain Perrin, who sees the Frenchman as a replacement for Patrik Berger. Newcastle’s price tag of around four million pound may put off Portsmouth, but it seems clear that Robert will be shipped out of St James.

Robert has had his moments of genius, in his time on Tyneside, but his lack lustre performances and badly timed outbursts has seen his stock fall at Newcastle.
