Spurs striker on way out after secret meeting?

He has revealed that he has been in talks with Zamalek president, Mortada Monsour, over a proposed loan deal, to the club for the six months leading up to the African Nations' Cup.

"I met with Zamalek's president, Mortada Monsour."

"I told him I was thinking of joining Zamalek for six months until the end of the African Nations' Cup.

"I needed to know if he has a place for me in the team or not."

There is no word at present from Spurs, over whether they will release him or not, he is currently on loan to Spurs from Roma.
