Team mate resigned to strikers Spurs move

Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, will probably be a Spurs player by the end of the summer according to his PSV team-mate Phillip Cocu who stated: 'I really hope he stays with PSV because he's a very important player for us. However, I will not be surprised if Tottenham come to buy him in the summer. He could be a very good player for them.

'There are a lot of players like Vennegoor in England, so I think he'd be perfectly suited to the game over there.

'I am sure Martin Jol realises this and that is why he is chasing him. I do think that Vennegoor is the type of striker who will be very successful in England.'
