Sunderland and West Brom are both interested in the summer signing of Czech striker Jan Koller, the giant Czech forward was actually wanted by Sunderland a few years back, but they have returned in one of their brief appearances out of obscurity.
The move has been confirmed on official Borussia Dortmund website which stated:
"Koller has been the subject of interest from Sunderland and West Bromwich Albion, both of which have made contact with Borussia Dortmund.
"A deal is possible and it is believed that Koller would prefer the move to Sunderland because he would be more likely to get regular appearances."
It is said he fancies at least a season in the Premiership, which makes Sunderland favourites, because if he had went to West Brom he may have to play more.
