Manchester United in for Italian starlet?

Manchester United are being credited with an approach for Messina midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino according to various reports today. Alex Fergusson is said to have had the youngster watched and is said to have been impressed with reports back on him.

The player is still partially owned by Roma, but Messina will have the full right to sell him, as it seems unlikely that there will be any interference from Roma to the sale.
