German Star confirms Man Utd, Arsenal link.

Manchester United’s reported interest in Bayern Munich defender Willy Sagnol, has been confirmed by the player himself. He is looking to leave Bayern after a falling out with coach Felix Magath and an argument with Oliver Kahn after the UEFA Champions League defeat to Chelsea. The French international now finds himself out in the cold and is looking for pastures new, talking to ‘The News of the World’, Sagnol stated:

"Manchester United and also Arsenal are interested."

"If I quit Bayern, it will be for a big European club.

"I want to discover another championship.

"A new deal is not what I expect from Bayern."
