Edgar Davids: Agent confirms Premiership contact

Edgar Davids, who is reportedly a target for Spurs, Arsenal and Manchester United, has admitted that he has had contact from Premiership clubs. But the agent, Robert Geerlings has insisted that his client’s main priority is to stay at Inter. Speaking to Calciomercato.com Geerlings stated:

"Davids at the moment is injured and has received permission from the club to do his recovery in Holland."

"I do not know the reasons why he is not finding space and I cannot say if there are any particular problems with Mancini."

"For sure, Edgar wants to play more, but he has always accepted the choices of the trainer, even if he does not share them."

"Today, it is impossible to establish if Davids will stay with Inter because the market's dynamics change so quickly."

"There has been contact from some English, Spanish and Dutch clubs, but you cannot forget that the team of Davids is and remains Inter."

He may not be able to say if there are problems at Inter, but it is common knowledge in Italy that there is, with relations between Davids and Mancini, broken down seemingly beyond the point of reconciliation.

Davids is certain to move in the summer, it is just the destination that remains unknown.
