Del Piero ‘I would move to London’

Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham could all be potential destinations for Juventus star Del Piero, the Italian press have speculated for a while now, that Del Piero would be forced out of Turin, should Cassano arrive in the summer. It was just the destination that was clouded, but speaking ahead of the game against Liverpool Del Piero stated to Gazzetta dello Sport, that he would consider a move to London.

Chelsea who undoubtedly have the money, might be a lot of people’s favourites, but it is reckoned that Arsenal are the side most likely to tempt the Star, with Spurs at best an outside bet, although stranger things have happened.

The irony in this is for seasons now Del Piero has under performed, but this season has seen a return to form and something like his best.

But Capello wants Cassano and that probably means the writing is on the wall for Del Piero’s time with Juventus.
