Where will Del Piero be playing next season?

If Fabio Capello manages to land Antonio Cassano at the end of the season as much of the Italian press believe is likely, what will the future hold for Del Piero. It has been mooted that a trip to England could be a distinct possibility, but as things stand only Chelsea could probably afford his wages.

However given a choice between lower wages and first team action, the 30 year old Del Piero would, I think go for a wage cut, after all he is already a millionaire many times over, but a chance to regularly play the game he loves at the top level will be overwhelming.

No one has ever doubted his loyalty to Juventus, but the arrival of Cassano would see his chances limited to say the least, there was talk of a move to Japan and a last big pay day, but surely Del Piero is too good for the J-League?
Then there is also Spain, but the truly big sides their, would seem to have little use for him at present.

Although one possibility is he would go to a side mid table, in either Spain or the Premiership, and have a chance to help them grow and raise their profile, a few close friends have intimated that this is a strong possibility.

Lastly there is the remain at Juve option, which most bookies currently favour, with his return to form this season. But personally I can’t see him hanging around to be a barely used sub in Cassano’s shadow. I think he will move on and probably to the Premiership, its just a matter of where.
