Scouts from Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham and Newcastle have all visited the Estadio El Madrigal recently with several Villarreal players thought to be the reason for their visits. Villarreal's surprising climb in La Liga has brought them a lot of attention from Premiership sides, they look likely to grasp third place in La Liga and an unlikely UEFA Champions League spot.

Jose Reina, Antonio Guayre and Gonzalo Rodriguez are thought to be the players linked with Premiership moves.

Jose Reina a keeper is attracting the interest of Spurs, who see him as a replacement, should they lose Robinson.

Gonzalo Rodriguez is a defender said to be wanted by Newcastle, Liverpool an Barcelona.

Antonio Guayre is a striker wanted by just about everyone, after scoring 8 goals in 19 starts.

Villarreal's only chance to hang onto these players is to secure that Champions League spot and increase wages, failing that they will leave in search of richer rewards and pastures new.
