Spanish star hopes to make Everton home

Everton’s on loan Mikel Arteta is hoping to land himself a permanent deal at Goodison Park. Currently on loan from Real Sociedad the player is hoping he has done enough to impress David Moyes into keeping him: "After seeing my dream of being a success with my hometown club Real Sociedad go wrong, I want to find myself a club that I can stay with for a long time," stated Arteta.

"I hope it can be with Everton, but that is a decision that will be taken by the manager at the end of the season.”

"All I can do is try to play well and help the team qualify for the Champions League."
