Allardyce keep the Bolton Candela burning

Bolton manager Sam Allardyce has spoken of his delight with new signing Vincent Candela, but he is insistent that Candela still has more to offer. The former France international has forced his way into the Bolton side after leaving Roma on a free transfer in January. And he has obviously caught the eye of his new manager who stated:


"I think he is still short of complete match fitness, even though he runs up the left-hand side like a hare. I'm not sure if he is a left-winger or a left-back sometimes. He has a super touch with both feet when he's in possession of the ball which can open up defences."
