Arsenal eye AZ star

AZ Alkmaar and Holland back Jan Kromkamp is one of the most sought after right backs in Europe at the moment. This isn't a strange thing if you look at his present form, he's doing a great job for AZ both in the domestic league and UEFA cup. Kromkamp is very close to picking up his 3rd cap for the Holland team against Romania next Saturday.

His recent performances caught already the eye of Spanish giants Real Madrid and Valencia and German side Schalke '04. Kromkamp is now being linked again to a move away from 'De Almaarderhout', this time it seems Arsenal have revealed some strong
interest. It seems the North London outfit are not satisfied with their current right backs, Lauren and Eboue.

AZ chairman Dirk Scheringa is aware of the interest being shown towards his star players and he's willing to sell, but only if the price is right.
According to reports in some English papers AZ want about 8 to 10 million euro's for Kromkamp.
