Inter, Chelsea target to stay at Ajax

It seems that higly rated Ajax full back Maxwell won't move this summer. The left footed Brazilian who has been chased by Inter, Juventus and Chelsea in the past, is enduring a fickle season. Last season Maxwell was voted best player of the year in Holland but this term things are not going like they suppose to, one game he plays superb and the next he's doing terrible.

Maxwell is well aware of his fickling form. In a interview in Dutch football magazine, 'Voetbal International', he stated: "I don't think i'm leaving Ajax this summer, if i would leave, it would only be for the eight biggest teams in Europe. I didn't play very consistent this season, i'm aware of that and i don't think any of the clubs i would like to go to will make a bid for me in the summer. I simply can't
imagine."

He also stated: "I'm very disappointed that some people thought my mind wasn't at Ajax and that i only was thinking of a move. This isn't true at all, my mind is at Ajax and i think i will be here after the summer.
