On loan star Stephane Henchoz will be offered a long term deal with the Scottish club. He has impressed since joining Celtic in January on a loan from Liverpool. Although he was sure they would not be alone in chasing his signature.

Martin O'Neill said:

"He's come in and played well, particularly on Wednesday at Inverness."

"I'm sure he'll have a few offers in the summer but I'm hoping we'll be one of the clubs involved in that."

He also spoke of his desire to tie Newcastle striker Craig Bellamy permanently after watching him hit a hatrick yesterday O'Neill said afterwards:

"If Craig Bellamy wants to stay, then we will have to find the money to keep him."

And Bellamy shared his new boss’s enthusiasm, but was a bit worried by the financial constraints on Celtic at present saying:

"I realise the financial problems in terms of a package, but, all things being equal, I would like to stay."

But one player that could be leaving Celtic is Juninho, who has been granted permission to see if he can find himself a new club, so it looks like a return to Brazil, for Juninho.

"He came into to see me and said there was a number of teams interested in him," said O'Neill. "Their league is starting up and he wants to play every week."
