Next on the menu: Spurs Finn Swoop

Auxerre midfielder Teemu Tainio, will join Spurs in the summer after signing a pre-contract with the London club. The player has been receiving very good reviews during this season and had been linked with a January move. But the player refused to leave during the transfer window and will remain at Auxerre for the rest of the season, before joining Spurs for free in the summer.

Commenting on the move the player stated:

"I am thrilled at the prospect of playing for Tottenham and in The Premiership."

"It is one of the best leagues in the world. I look forward to joining everyone in July."
