Starlet flattered by Arsenal

Lecce Starlet Alexei Eremenko Jnr is said to be flattered by reports in the Italian press linking him with a move to Arsenal. It had been rumoured that he could be tempted into a move to England this week. And the Italian press have not been long in linking this move to Arsenal. Although he only joined Lecce in the summer, after being touted around various clubs including Birmingham, he has impressed, but the player himself stated he knows nothing definite:

"The Italian press claimed Arsenal are interested in me and that is really flattering,"

There seems little doubt that he would be tempted by a move, but how serious Arsenal are remains a matter of debate.
