Reyes tells Arsenal ‘Get Torres’

Jose Antonio Reyes would like to be joined at Highbury by his fellow countryman Fernando Torres. He of course has first hand experience of the talented 20 year old, who did not have his best game tonight against neighbours Real Madrid, missing a host of chances. But this one match apart, he has done enough to be courted by many of Europe’s top club sides and Reyes feels it would be in Arsenal’s best interest to secure this young talent.

''I have told Arsene Wenger he should try to sign Torres in 2005,'' said Reyes.

''He is the best youngster in Spain and will be one of the best players around over the next few years.

And speaking on his fears that Torres could join Manchester United Reyes Stated:

''We can't allow United to sign him.''
