Celtic to move for Marseille defender?

Marseille defender Philippe Christanval, could be about to become a target for Celtic. A number of clubs are chasing him ever since it became apparent that he was leaving the Stade Velodrome, but Martin O'Neill is rumoured to be considering striking a loan deal for the 26-year-old with an option of a permanent deal at the end of the current campaign.

Although he is still trying to rebuild his reputation after a nightmare at Barcelona, there is no doubting the player’s potential and Martin O'Neill obviously feels that Celtic is the place where he can recapture his form.
