Southampton and Crystal Palace check out Parma sta

Both Southampton and Crystal Palace will be taking a look at Martin Djetou in the next couple of weeks, with the midfielder training with Palace this week. Parma have not paid the player for months and he has been granted permission to seek a free transfer to another club. Harry Redknapp took the opportunity to have a look at the player last week, but up until now no deal has been forthcoming as yet, according to his agent though, this does not necessarily mean any potential deal is dead in the water only that they are ‘exploring all the options open to them'.

He is primarily a holding midfielder but has been know to operate as a centre back.
