Juventus set to tempt Spurs with 18 million offer

Juventus are set to attempt to take Ledley King away from White Hart Lane with a massive eighteen million pound offer. Although solid enough at the moment in defence, it remains true that their defenders are not getting any younger and they see King as an Ideal replacement. The obligatory club insider was quoted as saying “He is the sort of calibre of player we are looking for, strong yet still young, he could be an integral part of our defence for many years to come”.

I haven’t been able to find what Spurs are making of this, but it does seam likely that eighteen million might just be enough to tempt them, it seams no secret that their new coaching staff are after a major overhaul of the current staff, and for that they are going to need money.
