Gigi del Neri has confirmed that he will recall Antonio Cassano for the side to face Juventus. He was missing from the match against Palermo after his latest bust up with managment, but del Nieri confirmed that he we be welcomed back along with Vincenzo Montella. While blessed with sublime skill, Cassano has made a habit of defying authority during his time in football and it appears that he is less than settled at Roma, but there is certainly no doubting his talent and given the right coach he could show it regularly. Roma fans must be hoping that del Neri is that coach

He was quoted yesterday:

"I want to make clear that I will always select our strongest line-up, no matter the circumstances." "In training, I've seen Montella and Totti do very well.

"For that reason both of them will play - along with Cassano.

"I cannot leave out players available to me who can make a difference. For that reason all three of them will play against Juventus. Roma has always played with Montella, Totti and Cassano. We will go to Turin with the aim to gain maximum points."

Adding: "With Cassano, I spoke with him on Sunday evening and we settled things together, mutually. I have asked him if he felt he could play and he gave me a positive answer.

"He's trained today and I will speak to him before the game to see if physically and psychologically he is fit to start. I hope he has 100 minutes in his legs, not 90. I also hope he can score and take a big step forward for himself
