Chelsea's Veron and Crespo in return to Serie A

While reports are stating that Juan Sebastian Veron as actually requested that he be sold back to Serie A, it looks like he may not be alone, as Hernan Crespo may very well join him. Veron has been strongly linked with a move to Inter and Crespo with a move to neighbours Milan. Veron's agent has stated that his client has put in a transfer request at Chelsea and has insisted to Peter Kenyon that he wants to be sold.

Inter are more than happy to bring him back to Italy, where he was a star. He has never really been able to come to terms with life in the premership, and although the tag of flop may be a bit unfair, it is true that he has never really done himself justice.

There is actually a possibility that Chelsea could yet loan Veron to Inter for next season.

Crespo on the other hand is not quite so clear cut, press speculation is suggesting that his agent has met Milan officals earlier this week, with a view to a move to the San Siro.

But nothing has been confirmed and it is understood to depend heavily on Chelsea themselves as they have to make their minds up as to whether they want Crespo for next season or not.
