Congratulations AC Milan Champions of Italy.

Despite the desperate attempts by a group of Roma thugs, AC Milan have finaly been crowned champions of Italy. They denied Roma a win thanks to a very early goal by Andriy Shevchenko who was fed by the ever impressive Kaka. A mere 90 seconds had passed at this point. Roma needed a victory anything else would guarantee Milan the championship and it always looked a tall order, in fact Roma havent had a positive result against Milan at the San Siro for 18 years.

A bad tempered game that saw chances for both sides and fights between players, even a 4 minute break to sort out a flare thrown by the Roma fans could not dent this afternoon for Milan and its fans.

So congratulations to Milan.
