Chelsea have informed AC Milan that they are ready to hold talks over the future of striker Hernan Crespo. The Argentine is believed to be unhappy with life in the premership and craves a return to Italy and Serie A. Roman Abramovich is thought to be happy enough to give Crespo his wish after he has failed to shine in England and Chelsea look forward to a summer of high spending and new arrivals.

From a Milan point of view Carlo Ancelotti is understood to be very keen on signing Crespo, who of course once played for Milan's neighbours Inter.
