AC Milan, Chelsea , Barcelona to fight over Davids

Rumours abound in Spain and Italy that it has come down to a direct three horse race over where Edgar Davids will be at the start of next season. AC Milan are believed to be current favourites, but reports that a deal has already been done are wide of the mark. Frank Rijkaard, the Barcelona coah confirmed that there had been interest from AC Milan, but also stated that there were other sides interested in the Dutch Midfielder.

One of those sides is believed to be Chelsea, and with Abramovic's spending power they cannot be discounted. Although still hopefull of keeping his player Frank Rijkaard, admited that it would probably come down to money and what Edgar believes is best for himself.
