AC and Inter Milan target want's to go to Arsenal

A main summer target of both AC Milan and Inter Milan, has put a huge dent in their summer signing plans by stating that he would like to join Arsenal. Benfica midfielder Tiago has experessed a strong preference for life in the premership. By saying that he would love to play for Arsenal: "To play with Arsenal would be an irresistible opportunity for any player," said Tiago. "I'm happy here in Lisbon, but if the Arsenal made me an offer, then I'm sure to say yes.

He would of course be joining other portuguese, startlets in the premership, with Viana at Newcastle, Ronaldo at Manchester United and Postiga at spurs.

While all three have had their moments they could hardly be accused of setting the premership alight however Tiago doesn't see this as a major problem, stating:

"The game in England is beautiful for the spectators, perhaps a little less for the players, which is why it is extremely hard, but I'm sure at my young age I would not have great problems."
