Roberto Baggio returns from injury and has hopes of claiming his 200th Seria A goal, against one of his former sides. Baggio has unfortunetly been plagued, by knee and muscular problems throught the season.
“Baggio is in good condition,” revealed Brescia boss Gianni De Biasi, “and took part in training with quite extraordinary enthusiasm.”
Although It has to be said that the team seam to be coping in his abscence, winning Inter 3-1 at the San Siro.
“I still have a few doubts with regards to the flu epidemic that swept through the squad last week,” added De Biasi, “but most of the symptoms have now gone.”
Marcello Lippi famously did not get along with Baggio during their years at Juventus and when asked about that rapport the Bianconeri boss walked out of yesterday’s press conference.
“I understand where he is coming from,” said De Biasi. “If I was asked the same question for several years I’d have walked out too.”
So prehaps divine revenge as well as a pnytail could be on the cards.
