Spurs after Moroccan youngster

FC Köln's young Moroccan Adil Chihi has been linked with English Premiership side Tottenham Hotspur. The 18-year-old left winger is considered a huge talent in Germany. The Düsseldorf-born youngster's recent decision to represent Morocco on international level instead of Germany was not well received in the country and attracted numerous conspiracy theories.

Rumours are now suggesting, that he might be the man to resolve Tottenham's left wing problems, which have been the talking point ever since the club allegedly failed to land Middlesbrough's Stewart Downing and Lyon's Hatem Ben Arfa during the last transfer window.

According to reports in Germany, Spurs have been courting the youngster for quite some time now, with Lilywhite scouts frequently seen at the RheinEnergie Stadion, and are currently leading the race for his signature ahead of their fierce rivals Arsenal.
