Deportivo La Coruña midfielder Aldo Duscher is inching closer to a long-mooted move to the Premier League. The Argentinian has been subject of several transfer rumours linking him with Manchester United, Newcastle and Bolton Wanderers.
The 27-year old had been handed a deadline of November 5 to agree fresh terms at Depor but seems certain to keep his options open rather than commit to a new contract.
It means Duscher will be free to discuss a Bosman move in January ahead of a potential transfer in June.
Manchester United and Bolton Wanderers have long been credited with interest in the rugged South American, although United's prime target is understood to be Bayern Munich's Owen Hargreaves.
Newcastle United is another Premiership club who have been linked to Duscher in the past but Newcastle boss Glenn Roeder seem to have other priorities who need strenthening first.
Depor are reluctant to lose Duscher for nothing but sources in Spain suggest a Bosman move is becoming a formality as the end of the year approaches.
