FC Barcelona reveal stadium expansion plans

FC Barcelona have plans to increase their stadium capacity to 118.000. Reason for this expansion is the ever growing number of socio's. FC Barcelona currently have 150.000 members. According to FC Barcelona's plans Camp Nou will be expanded from 98.000 to 118.000 seats in 2007.

Only North-Korea and India currently posses bigger football stadiums. North-Korean capital Pyonyang is the home town for the biggest football stadium in the world, the stadium has a capacity of 150.000. The Yuva Bharatti Kiriangan stadium in Calcutta (India) are coming second with 120.00 seats.
