RIP: Ray Yeoman - Aged 69

Just want to pass this onto you:

Dear all;

I've just been given the sad news that Ray Yeoman has passed away, aged 69.

Ray -- or Yogi as he was nicknamed -- was a big crowd favourite in the sixties. He signed from Middlesbrough in 1965, and was a key member of the team which won promotion to the old Third Division in 1966. He was also part of the team which got to the League cup quarter final in 1967.

After he quit playing, he was appointed manager, and was in charge when we just failed to win promotion in 1969.

I'm sure you'll all join with me in passing on condolences to his family.
