Barnsley – Two players we know who will not be playing at the Racecourse tomorrow are Chris Lumsdon and Kevin Betsy, through injury and also suspension, but returning will be skipper Peter Handyside and Craig Ireland. Barnsley manager Gudjon Thordarson is also expected to give debuts to the trio of players signed this week, Michael Boulding (Grimsby), Arron Davies (Southampton) and Craig Rocastle (Chelsea). The latter are 19-year-old midfielders who have joined the club on loan. Mark Rankin has left Oakwell, at least on a temporary basis, joining Grimsby on a month’s loan.

Wrexham – Denis Smiths side have seen their squad boosted by both Lee Jones and Shaun Pejic playing a full 90 minutes in our midweek reserve fixture at the Racecourse. Lee even got on the scoresheet and will be hoping for a place on the bench as one of his previous clubs pay a visit to the Racecourse. Both players have recovered from hamstring injuries, which leaves physio Mel Pejic with some time on his hands and that’s just the way he wants to keep it.

Form Guide

Barnsley – Barnsley are having a season which is very similar to what we are having. Doing very nicely on the road (six wins to their credit) but struggling to repeat that form at home, with eight draws at Oakwell already. They have only won once in their last six league games on their own Turf and away from there they have collected 21 of their 47 points.

Wrexham – It’s been said time and time again, but we have to improve our form at the Racecourse. One point from home games against Sheffield Wednesday, Notts County and Stockport County is not the sort of form that will carry us into the play-offs. Lets hope tomorrow we turn the corner and have a good win in front of the home fans.
