Gillingham have signed French striker Mamady Sidibe in a 3-year-deal. The 22-year-old spent last season with Swansea where he attracted many scouts.
Sidibe left the Welsh club this summer and Gills boss Andy Hessenthaler was quickly alerted to him.
Sidibe joins Rod Wallace and Tommy Johnson as new strikers at the club for the coming season.
Speaking to BBC Radio Kent Hessenthaler spoke of his newest recruit. "Mamady's still very young and has got a lot to learn about the position but once he's got the ball he's very dangerous.
"It's my job to coach him now and make him into a very good player.
"We see him as the future because we've got a lot of players who are 30-plus and we need to start bringing a few younger ones in."
