League Chief Executive, David Burns, and League Chairman, Keith Harris have both resigned this morning due to the ever growing pressure they've been put under since losing the ITV Digital court case. It had been thought the pair would soon resign when the Football League lost the court case to get the £158million Carlton and Granada owed them.

This leaves the leagues no better off and it is thought that the lower 2 leagues could be regionlised for season 2003/04.
