Grimsby sign Barnard

Grimsby Town have made their second signing of the day in former Barnsley winger Darren Barnard. The Welsh international was released by Barnsley this summer after his contract expired.

The 30-year-old rejoins Steve Chettle who also signed for the Mariners today.

Barnard can operate as a full back as well as a winger if required.

Before playing in tonights friendly win over Stockport, Barnard signed a 2-year-deal.
