Andy Johnson has vowed to make the Crystal Palace fans forget all about Clinton Morrison. Johnson was used as a make-weight in the deal that took Morrison to Birmingham but the 21-year-old has vowed that he will replace Morrison.
Johnson was tipped for a big future with the Blues but the likes of Stern John and Geoff Horsefield forced him down the pecking order and forced him to look elsewhere for first team football.
Speaking to the Palace club website he stated his intentions to replace Morrison and score a mamouth amount of goals. "My intention is to go out and fill Clinton's boots.
"My aim might be to score 25 goals this year and I've definitely got the confidence to do it.
"I'm no makeweight. Birmingham wanted Clinton but Trevor Francis wanted me."
