Gillingham striker, Marlon King has launched an appeal against the 18 months sentence handed to him following King driving a stolen BMW. The 22 year old launched the appeal today following his sentencing on Friday, just one day after been cleared off assulting a police officer.
Kings club, Gillingham, have been left with a dilema with fellow striker, Iffy Onura, out of contract in the summer leaving the Gills with a possible striker shortage.
Gills chairman, Paul Scally stated that he will help manager, Andy Hessenthaler's bid to strenghten his squad "We've got time on our side." "I've had discussions with Andy and we've got a list of players we're going to look at and start talking to managers and chairmen about."
