David Platt announced his England U-21 squad for the European Chamionships with 4 Division 1 players in the sqaud and several ex-Division 1 players also featuring. David Prutton (Forest), Bobby Zamora (Brighton) and Malcolm Christie and Chris Riggott (both Derby) were all named in Platt's 23 man party but all 4 of those names may be subject to big moves over the summer.
Several ex-Division 1 stars also featured they are as follows: Paul Koncheskey, Zat Knight, Sean Davis, Jermaine Pennant, David Dunn, Scott Parker, Jermaine Jenas and Peter Crouch.
