Craig Burley's agent Gordon Smith is currently considering taking action towards the players treatment at the hands of medical staff at Pride Park.

It's obvouis that this row is now turning into a farce and it will not be settled lightly or quickly either.

Gregory and his medical manager at Derby Staurt Walker are now consulting lawyers on what is the best course of action to take , with the claims from Smith a one time medical consultant at Derby.

A statement released by Derby County said "Craig Burley's private physiotherapist, Alan Watson, sent his allegations in letter form to the chairman and Lionel Pickering has instructed finance director Andrew Mackenzie and club secretary Keith Pearson to follow up the claims."

"Stuart Walker is a highly-regarded medical professional and the club respects his right and the right of John Gregory to challenge the allegations. We understand both are considering legal advice. We stress both have the full support of the board pending the outcome of this review."
