Forest boss Paul Hart has stated he would love to sign Darren Huckerby permanetly for the reds but a deal would only be viable if The City Ground club were promoted to the Premier League this season.
Forest boss Paul Hart has stated he would love to sign Darren Huckerby permanetly for the reds but a deal would only be viable if The City Ground club were promoted to the Premier League this season.
The Man City loanee has started like a house on fire and has scored 3 goals in 2 starts for Forest , one of them a spectacular volley at Gillingham last week.
Huckerby is a very talented player but has flattered to decieve at times for various clubs , but Paul Hart is a big admirer and was chuffed to bits in beating off interest from other clubs to sign Huckerby until the end of the season on loan.
Hart told the Evening Post "We have to think about The Premiership."
"It's very difficult in the First Division to sign Premiership players on a full-time basis."
"I would love to have him on board and we will definitely look at it if we get into the Premiership."
"He's working towards his fitness, he's a great lad and he fits into Forest."
"It's like he has walked into the place and settled in straight away." Hart added
