Reading get promotion from Div 2 after a down to the wire 1-1 draw while Derby get relegated from the Premiership after losing 2-0 to Liverpool.

Brentford were ahead ford most of the match through Martin Rowlands. When Reading made a change by bringing on Jamie Cureton it proved a good one. Minutes after the substitution he scored an equaliser, it's all Reading needed and they defended as if their lives depended on it and they did it well as Reading get the automatice promotion place. Derby are down after a 2-0 defeat to Liverpool. They were more or less down before the match but after the defeat and with Blackburn winning 3-1 L'pool confirmed their premiersip exit.
