Portsmouth defender Linvoy Primus is delighted to have netted a new two year deal at Fratton Park. Pompey boss Harry Redknapp has delighted defender Linvoy Primus by offering him a new two year deal , the giant defender who was signed from Reading in 2000 on a bosman has played 71 league games for Pompey and scored twice.

Speaking to the Pompey website Primus said "I did not even think I was going to play a part this season with all the new boys in so it's funny how things work out.

"I am very happy to have been offered the new contract and am very excited about the future. I am very grateful and delighted to stay on at Fratton Park."
