Ipswich boss Joe Royle has a slight injury concern over young attacker Darren Ambrose ahead of the home match against Grimsby. 

The 18-year-old suffered a knock in the defeat by Wolves on Wednesday and was substituted by Pablo Counago after 69 minutes, who starts his four match ban for a red card against Sheffield United. 

Also suspended is Icelandic defender Hermann Hreidarsson,who will sit out the second game of a four-match ban following his sending-off against Bradford and his booking in the following game against the Blades

Fourth-from-bottom Grimsby have been boosted by a double swoop in time for their visit to Portman Road. 

Former star John Oster has re-joined the club for a second loan spell from Sunderland this season, along with Portsmouth midfielder Richard Hughes. 

Both players are expected to figure at some stage for the Mariners and could start the game in midfield.
