Sheff Utd have extended the loan spell for defender Ben Doane at Mansfield. Ben Doane has had his loan spell at Mansfield extended for a second month.

Doane knows Mansfield boss Keith Curle well , Curle was Doane's reserve team coach at Sheff Utd before his move into full time manangement with Mansfield.

Blades assistant boss Kevin Blackwell told the clubs official website "Ben has done well during his first month."

"We believe it will aid his development if he stays with Keith Curle a little longer." Blackwell added
