Leicester have been rocked by the news that they still won't be able to sign players even though there very close to getting out of administration. Even with Gary Lineker and his consortium almost in place , Leicester have been shocked with the news he will still not be able to sign players to help to strenghen his team.

The FA have been very stern with the Foxes and until everything is sorted and they can prove evidence they are 100% out of trouble, they will not sanction any deals from Micky Adams team.

Micky Adams speaking to the Foxes official website said "The Football League are still blocking our attempts to sign players."

"I am led to believe that but for a few legal documents that need to be signed we are out of administration - so I really don't see what the objection is."

Mickey Adams wants back up in the striking department with Brian Deane out injuried , which leaves only Paul Dickov and Jamie Scowcroft they are strongly linked with Man City's Darren Huckerby.

Adams also added "Everything is settled with the clubs and the players involved. We have got a couple of targets from Premiership clubs."

"Darren Huckerby is not one of those targets. He is a good player with a proven track record in the First Division - but he is rather expensive."
