Sheff Wednesday have signed Sunderland striker Michael Reddy on a month's loan. Chris Turner has bolstered his strike force by signing Sunderland striker Michael Reddy on a months loan.

Reddy should go stright into the squad to face Wolves on Saturday , Turner finally gets the man who he tried to sign as Hartlepool manager but Reddy opted for Hull then York.

Chris Turner speaking to the Sheffield Star said "Michael is in the same sort of mould as Adam, he's 6ft and very quick. We'll utilise his pace. He'll play off Shefki Kuqi and hopefully do something for us."

"It is difficult for young players to break through in the Premiership. Michael is a bit like Michael Proctor, who had to go on loan to get his league football and it took him two years to break into the Sunderland first team." Turner added

Finally Turner lands a striker after weeks of searching , he lost out on Adam Proudlock or went back to Wolves, and lost to injury Lee Bradbury, but funds were made avalible with the sale of Gerald Sibon.
